I have been charting for two months and last month I O on day 27 of a 39 day cycles. My cycles are very irregular.

So far this month I am on day 17 and trying to figure out what the heck is going on with me. I don't know how to post my chart so I will briefly describe the last couple days. Day 15 my temp was 97.02 then day 16 97.21, and then today day 17 went up to 97.56.

The weird thing is I got a postive OPK this morning. Did I ovulate already? Is it too late? Or do you think I could have gotten a false postive OPK. I read somewhere that first morning pee can leed to that sometimes.

Has anyone else experienced that? Or could your temp rise because of the LH surge before O?

I am so frustrated and my DH has been out of town and he just got back and is really sick and not in the mood for BD.

What do you think? If I didn't sleep very well last night, could that have made my BBT go up?

First off with OPKs they say you should do it in the late afternoon to early evening....not in the morning. Also OPKs tell when you are about to ovulate. So if you got your + this a.m you should be ovulating soon within the next day or so. Use them in conjunction with temping. The temping will tell you once you've Oed.

If you didn't sleep well you will most likely get an inaccurate temp reading.

If you have any other questions just ask. I've been charting off & on for aobut 15 years. I have also had a few cycles of OPKs. I too have irregular cycles.

Yeah, the OPK's say you usually O anywhere from 12-36 hours after you see +! Good luck!

OH! I agree--get to BDing!!! If you didn't sleep well, that was most likely the cause of your temp going up and not because of O. Good luck!!! (What? You're still reading this!??! Get out and get on DH!!! )
