So I need some packing help....since we are leaving for Hawaii in 11ish days or something like that! haha

Anyways, what kind of things should I pack in a carry-on?

What kind of things do I need to make sure not to foget?

Make sure you have a few clothing items in case they loose your luggage. I usually packed undies, a pair of pants and a shirt and then toiletry items I couldn't live without and a book or some CD's. Don't forget your sunscreen (and camera).

I was gonna say make sure you have an outfit as well... just in case your luggage gets lost! Sunscreen is a great idea, sunglasses, camera, toothbrush and paste, your cell phone charger (if you're bringing it), at least 2 or 3 days worth of any medications you guys might be on (again in case things get lost), something that can entertain you guys for the flight, and maybe some small snacks...

I definately agree with an outfit, but if you bring on toiletries you need to make sure it'll fit in a ziplock bag and they are under 3ozs.

I'm not sure who you are flying with or that you know about this, but a lot of airline companies are now charging money for each piece of luggage so if you're able to I definately recommend packing together in one large suitcase.

Definitely take a couple of swimsuits and a lot of money for Hawaii! Have a great time, I can't wait to go back some day.

Well since you're going to Hawaii and carry on baggage is pretty small, here's what I would pack (and did pack - we just went there this past summer):

Your swimsuit and a little cover up - you're going to Hawaii! That counts as an outfit!
Wear your sandals on the plane, so you have something to go with your swimsuit-outfit
your camera
anything totally expensive
prescription medication
something to keep you occupied during the flight - book, magazine, etc.
phone charger! v.i.p.


You can buy pretty much anything else that you would have otherwise been "lost" with your baggage. Sunscreen, makeup, clothes, shoes, undies, can all be purchased on the islands (they have Kmart and WalMart). And snorkel gear and flippers and stuff like that can be rented on a weekly basis.
