Jessie had oral surgery today. I got to the dr office and they started to hook stuff up to Jessie and she got scared as soon as they got out the needle for the IV she started to cry. she cried so much before she want to sleep that she had tears running down her face and dripping on the thing around her neck. OMG I just stood there holding her hand and crying my eyes out!!!! When she woke up she was saying that she was hurting so bad and she cried all the way home. This is the hardest thing that I have ever had to do!!!!

She is in my room now watching Tv and on her pain med I am sure that she will be asleep soon I am really hoping that she will feel better when she gets up. We have to go in next week and have the stiches out.

Oh, God, that made ME cry!!! That sucks, but OH! will she be glad when everything is healed and she doesn't have to go through the other pain. For any oral surgery, I was so relieved afterward because I knew that the pain would be over with in a finite amount of time.

I'm sorry it was so hard. I hope that the medicine knocks her out...and glad that she's young enough not to be tooooooo excited about the effects of pain meds! (Seriously!)

I hope you're all doing well...sounds like you've earned your rest, too!!!

Jessie is feel so much better today. I am so glad that is is behind me I NEVER want to go threw this again. That is the hardest thing to have your child looking at you crying and scared and there is nothing that you can do to help calm her down or stop the pain.
