ICs or FRER???Please read.

Hi all,I am really confused now. As some of you might remmember i had HCG shot on CD13. and ovulated on CD14.From CD21 i started taking HPTs to see if the HCg is going out of my system.It started getting lighter and lighter until yesterday,where it started getting darker.I thought i was imagining things,so i showed my hubby,and he agreed too that yesterday's was darker than the day before and today's is darker than yesterday.

I also did FRER today with the same urine sample i used for ICs this morning .But there is no 2nd line at all on it.Is'nt FRER more sensitive???

also when i wiped this morning,i saw some brown spotting on the TP.I dont know what to think now.I so thought i was pregnant. My temps still look good though.

Please let meknow what you all think.

Wow, I'm really not sure what to tell ya! I have never gotten a line on anything, so I am not any help. I want to wish you lots and lots of luck though!! Unfortunately a lot of it is a waiting game, so you may need to give it another day or so to show on a FRER if it's going to show.

My experience has been that FRERs are much more sensitive than ICs. I kept getting negative HPTs on ICs and finally out of frustration I tested with a FRER on the same sample, and a second line showed up immediately. I've also read that ICs can give false +s. But that was just my experience. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Best of luck. I am in the same boat as Jackie though. I haven't gotten a positive since I found out I was pregnant with my son.

I too, have onlt seen stark white HPTs, so this is just a guess, but is it possible that you got a bad batch of ICs? I know it's probably unlikely, but it's possible. I hope you can get this figured out soon and the ICs were right!

ok i'm just gonna add some interesting info i found out. when they told me my baby had died, i couldn't believe it. i kept taking hpt tests. you can't go by how light and dark the lines are, cause there are SO many factors when you are in early pregnancy that contribute to how much HCG is detected. sometimes i would take a test with FMU and get a lighter line. then i'd take it with afternoon pee and get a really dark line. when you are early on various things can affect the test outcome.

how many days past O are you? did you try a digi? g/L i hope you get your bfp!!!

These are Aimstrip brand...not exactly ICs i should say LOL..i got them free with pre-seed.I am going for blood test now in few mins.Will keep you guys updated.

i m 14 days DPO.spotting(brown) since yesterday...but still going for blood test lol.i got a very ver very faint line on FRER( did i mentione VERY) today.so dont know what to think .i did not want to waste a digi yet.let see what the blood results come.My back is killing me since yesterday.i dont hv back pain untill AF is in full swing and that too i never have that much pain as i m having now.

Hi all i am back from doc's office..the urine test in doc's office did show a tiny bit positive(doc said it is very very light,but something is definetley there).I had a blood test too.blood test results i will get tomm.and depending on those results(if it comes positive),then i have to go for another blood test on thurs to see if numbers are doubling.he even did a progestrone test.and if the progestorne had not increased since my last test(it was 13 in CD21),then he will give a prosgestoroen supplement.But it all depends on the HCG levels results.

so girls plz plz plz have everything crossed for me.
