Our TTC journey: 6 cycles Clomid, lap surgery/ D&C, IUI, 2 x IVF; 33 cycles- BFN.
IVF#1 (March 2010) Transferred two 8-cell grade A (perfect) embies- BFN and heartbroken.
 IVF#2/FET#1 (Jan/Feb 2011):Transferred two (7&8 cell) grade A (PERFECT) embies- BFN again.
March 2011- February 2012: On BCP due to endometriosis.
March 2012- taking a few months off of BCP and we are TTC naturally.
We will re-evaluate another IVF w/FET try in 2013.

Thanks Jackie! I'm definitely in that awkward phase right now. The belly is still PURE BLOAT but I like to pretend it's baby already

Hey Juli..those pics are so so cute....i had a ques for you...you went for an u/s at 4weeks? was it your decision or doc's to hv an u/s at 4weeks? i wanted to go ,but the nurse said 1st check up will b directly at 7w,0days.i am a little worried about that,since my progestrone levels were low at the 1st blood test and 2nd blood test they did not even do the progestorone.

It wasn't a planned ultrasound. I stopped by my RE's office one day after work (completely unscheduled) in the midst of a nervous breakdown b/c I was so worried about my bean. I was going to try and convince him to do a second blood draw so I could (hopefully) see that the #s went up. Well, given what a wreck I was, he decided to do an u/s instead to calm my nerves. So it was a 'special' occasion if you will.

Generally, most OBs will not do u/s prior to 8 weeks. If you got pregnant with MA, the standard timeline is 6.6-7 weeks for the first u/s. If you're high risk for ectopic pregnancies, they may do it earlier, but u/s before 6 weeks are very, very rare.

I added another baby picture today! I had an u/s at 5w6d... and I saw my baby's beautiful heartbeat!! It was incredible

I love all the notes the Tech/doc has been writing on your u/s from the baby. You are going to have an awesome bump! Can't wait to continue to stalk you! Maybe I will join you soon!
