Update

Hello! It has been over a month since I think I've been back in here! We are ttc 14 months now. I am 2 weeks late, but have been 2 weeks late before, so I haven't tested. Crazy I know, but I hate seeing the single BFN line. DH's birthday is March 17th (next tuesday) so I'm going to wait until then if AF hasn't showed to test. I'm even thinking of going on the stick and leaving and letting him read it. It is far worse to me to see the test, then to just start!

We had our first fertility specialist appt on Feb 2nd. He told me that since we've been trying over 1 year and tried clomid for 3 months and DH was tested and fine - that our chances decreased for 4%?! Isn't that just nuts?!?! I completely did not believe him. I know it takes some couples a year or two to conceive even when nothing is wrong, so where he got 4% I have no idea. Since I've had the HSG and bloodwork and all that jazz, he suggested checking for endo next. He said that or start injections with IUI. I decided I would wait until summer or Fall for either of those options. I just wanted to get the initial appointment out of the way. Our first appointment was $180. Tolerable I guess. DH wasn't thrilled at the fact that we have to pay to have a baby while most people do it for free (so to speak). On March 23rd he is going for a second SA to check for mobility though. Hopefully we wont have to though!!

Thanks for the update!! It's been a while! I hope you get your surprise BFP just in time for your DH's birthday and won't have to worry about any further treatments! I'm sort of in the same boat where the s/a and hsg found nothing, and 3 rounds of clomid have been unsuccessful. HUGS! And good luck when you test!
