Hi girls, I'm pretty new here still. I'm a Pre-AF spotter, and I was just wondering if there were any girls in this group who have the same issue as me. I usually spot from 7 or 8DPO till AF. I have an appt this Thursday to get it checked out, I'm nervous about it, but happy to be doing something about it at the same time. Last time I was there we talked briefly about it, and a D&C was mentioned...that is what is making me nervous. I'm really just hoping he does some BW and we do some Progesterone supplements...but whatever works is ok with me

I haven't had that happen, but I just wanted to let you know that I hope you get some answers at your appointment!! I agree with you though- whatever it takes to fix it to get that bundle of joy into your arms is worth it!

I spot for a few days now before AF shows, but last September, I was spotting for almost a week before AF. Clomid and Metformin lessened the spotting days but I do still spot.

BTW - if you O later, you really should take your progesterone test later - it should be taken at 7dpo no CD 21 like every doctor out there just wants to push on everyone - not everyone O's at the same time and they don't consider that.

I don't have that problem, but I hope your Dr can help you figure it out and get you on track for a BFP! Good luck!

I never in my life spotted before AF until I had my miscarriages. The last two cycles I've started spotting at 8dpo though. I guess I should mention it to my Dr. Just another frustration with TTC!

I am a spotter. When they put me on Clomid, that really helped, but still I start spotting one or two days before AF. I haven't gotten any answers about it either. I am hoping to talk with her about it sometime soon.

I am a spotter...have been ever since I had my IUD removed. All my tests have come back fine, and my RE says it is normal for some women to have this.

Good luck, and I hope you get some answers!!

Im a spotter, I also have really short LP. I usually O around day 17 and the spotting starts about 5dpo. AF arrives anywhere from day 22-28.
