I just got off the phone with my Dr's office and I did it! I made the appointment! I go in on Wednesday March 25 at 10:00am to meet with my Dr to discuss what the heck is going on!

I was shaking when I called and I guess the receptionist could tell I was nervous cause she asked if I was ok I'm still very shaky to be honest! Probably because I'm kinda nervous about telling Shawn. I even had them take my cell phone number as my main contact number so he didn't get any sort of phone call at the house from the Dr and start wondering (not that I wouldn't tell him right away and not that he's been home all that much, but you never know) I know that he'll end up being fine with things, but he doesn't even know I made the call. I'm going to just let him know that since I've been doing so much for everyone else around me, that I decided it was time that I do something for me and while I thought about a massage or shopping, this is the thing I wanted to do most of all. (well not want to do, but the thing that would make me feel better). Either that or I can tell him that I ran into my Dr at the grocery store and he insisted on my going in to see him. LOL... Maybe I can convince him it's an early birthday gift to myself?!?!?

I just realized that the 25th is likely going to be right around the day I O, so that should be interesting. I go in the morning and since DH will likely be sleeping, we'll have to BD when I get home or when he gets home from Lax practice. Since things will have probably calmed down from our parents and their never ending Dr's appts and surgeries, we should be all good!

I'm slowly stopping with the shaking and moving towards excitment. I'm ready to get this show on the road! I'll be telling Shawn later tonight over the phone (so he can't really yell at me LOL JK) so I'll let you know how he reacts...

Edited to add... I'm sure you're all thinking, "what the heck took this girl so long to make a stinkin' appointment!" LOL Gotta love my DH, right?

YAY!!! I am so excited for you Cris!! That is interesting that you will be going in right around O time. Typically the first thing a Dr. will do is do your CD3 blood work, but since you are close to O they may do an U/S or progesterone testing to start with instead!!

I am super excited for you!! I hope Shawn takes it will....if not tell him he has no choice! haha Otherwise I will come and give him a piece of my mind! haha J/K J/K

Alicia... As far as I understand, this appointment is just going to be a discussion to map out a plan for us. That's what I was told by the receptionist, however she did say that she's not 100% sure if he'll do anything else. So we'll have to see what happens! But if DH gets angry, I'll let you know!

Ash- I really have a feeling that he will be fine (once he knows lol)... things are taking a turn for the better with everything we have going on right now so that will surely help!

Cel- yes, the shaking has subsided thankfully. It's definitely turned to pure excitement! I was pretty surprised the Dr got me in for next week... they are very good about getting you in quick, but I was expecting to get in more towards the beginning of next cycle! Hey- I'm not complaining, I'll take it!

Awww, thank you guys!!! I wouldn't have probably had the courage to make the call if it weren't for you guys! I didn't tell DH yet, but we'll be together in the car for an hour today and since he can't run away from me there, I'll tell him them (and update you later on of course).

I finally did stop shaking and now I'm excited... I have my charts printed out (though I'm not sure if he'll want to look at them), and I should probably work on a list of questions or something, right? I can't believe that a week from today I'll hopefully have a plan of attack! WHOO HOO!!!

I haven't told DH yet (and it's killing me ) cause he fell asleep in the car. Understandably so, but it's literally eating away at me to have this info to tell him and not be able to! LOL... We got a BD in before he had to go to Lax practice, so I'll be telling him on the ride home for sure!
