It's been about 7 months now since I went off the pill and I'm STILL not getting remotely normal cycles.

I was on Depo for many years, went off that, got pregnant a year later (Jan 07), had a stillborn baby (Sept 07), had major surgery (Jan 08), started BC again around March 08, and stopped it again I think in August 08, so my body shouldn't be TOO out of whack.

My last cycles have been (from most recent) 38 days, 31 days, 28 days, 29 days, with this current one being 34 days at the moment, and still no AF. The 38 day cycle had major mid-cycle bleeding which could have been an actual period (it was pretty heavy), but that would make my last cycles 23 days, 15 days, 31, 28, 29 which is just as weird.

I have no idea if I'm Oing, and no idea when it may possibly happen since my cycles are SO out of whack. The test strips have all been negative, but I haven't done that many, so that doesn't mean much.

I don't think I'm pregnant ATM since I have no symptoms (I knew almost immediately last time), and I've been overseas without DH for 2 weeks, and most likely missed any possible eggy release. I keep feeling like I'm about to get my period, but it isn't happening. I wish it would so I can start using stupid ovulation strips every day from the day I finish AF.

And I wish my body would at least do semi-regular periods!!!

Oh my god. I just did a POAS test since I knew that doing that would make my period come sooner. It's freaking positive. I'm still shaking!

But I'm also freaking out, because DH and I went and sat in a hot tub for close to an hour over the weekend (I didn't stay in the whole time because it was too hot for me, but I was in there long enough), and there's heaps of studies saying how hot tubs definitely cause a higher rate of birth defects and miscarriages. It's going to be a stressful next couple of months I think...

Hubby's freaking out and convinced we've killed our baby before it even had a chance from being in a hot tub on Saturday night Unfortunately the odds of having a viable pregnancy after having a long hot tub session don't look the best. It was hubby's idea, and no matter how much I try to convince him we weren't to know I'd be pregnant, he's feeling pretty crappy. Sigh.
