Okay, I called my OB and actually talked to my OB. My yearly exam is scheduled for April 14th. He is going to send me for an HSG and we are going to get DH's SA. It is our choice whether we do another cycle of clomid (50mg) or not. DH and I will talk about that together later. I will be in my 2ww around my appt so I don't know what we should do.

Question: Does my OB have to order the SA (give us the paperwork to get it done) or should DH call his regular physician and have him order it?

I called the insurance company and BOTH the HSG and the SA will be covered in full under our insurance plan because they are considered diagnostics as long as they aren't done in the office and done at a lab that is in network for us.

I hope we get some answers or a BFP very soon. This morning I was actually considering finding a teenager that was looking to put their baby up for adoption and go that route. I didn't tell DH that cause he wouldda said I was giving up, LOL, but now I kinda have some renewed hope.

To answer your question, your OB can order both of those tests... mine did anyway.

I'm glad you are taking a step forward to hopefully get some answers (even if it's just confirmation that you and your DH are 'healthy' in there). Good luck and let us know when the HSG is scheduled!

I'm so glad that you're taking some positive steps Christina! I'm also really happy that your insurance will cover both the HSG and SA! That's great news! I would imagine that your Dr can send your DH for the SA (mine said that he would do it for us).

I can't wait to hear how things go!!!
