I think bumbos are the greatest invention!! Although I don't have a child, many of my friends do and they love them!!! It is great to help build neck muscles!! You can also get the tray for them and you can put toys on it an keep your child busy for awhile!!

Thumbs up for me.

Although I'm curious why they're controversial? Enlighten me Ash!

Some people believe that you shouldn't force a baby to sit upright before their bodies naturally allow them to. So things like this, exersaucers, walkers, etc. that force them into positions that they are developmentally able to maintain on their own are bad. I have read that around from time to time.

I will probably be using all of the above!

I probably will too! I imagine that's more for people who put them in those things for hours. That will not be us!

I've read similar things to what Ash has mentioned, but I still plan on using all those things. So I say Thumbs up!

I didn't use one for AJ - but my friends have them so I can see all of the nice qualities to having them. Many of my friends use them to feed solids to their kiddos. I am not sure I would buy one for myself for the next one (AJ survived with his bouncer, swing, exersaucer, and jumperoo) but if someone gave me one I would probably use it.

Maybe. I don't know that would specifically buy one, but if one happened to appear in my house, I would probably use it.

I say thumbs down for me. I guess I just don't see the point. Especially when I plan on having a swing, bouncer and excersaucer around.
