Hi! Two questions- when are you testing!?!?

And secondly, can you go into your user cp up top and enable private messaging in the options? I'm assuming you didn't do that after the site switch, and I don't have the option to send you a PM!

HUGS!

lol I didn't realize that you had to do that again with the new board. I just enabled that feature. Thanks for letting me know. I had no idea.

Well I told myself if my temp stayed up this morning that I would test but I don't know if I have the strength to do it. I'm so scared. I think I'm going to wait another day just to be safe.

Thank you ladies. This time is soooo on the QT. I haven't even told my husband. He really took it hard last time so I'm going to wait another couple weeks to tell him just to be sure everything is ok. I want to try and do something special this time around. So the only people who know are my sister and you ladies.

I need some advice. Do you guys think I should call my RE or just wait a few weeks and contact my OB. The last time I called the RE, they put me through all these Betas which was very stressful on me. My sister thinks I should just wait a few weeks and just call my OB and not torture myself. She’s had two healthy pregnancies and she never had betas done. What do you ladies think?

My EDD is 12/04/09 based on ovulation. I’m praying for a sticky bean. Thanks again ladies

Christina, I can kind of see your sister's point. Honestly, what's the use of a Beta anyway. I know it can give you reassurance when things are going well. But when things aren't going well, I would think that it could cause unnecessary stress. Especially because if things aren't going well, there really isn't much that can be done about it. I hope I am not sounding harsh. That is certainly not my intent, and to be honest, I have never had a m/c (or even been pregnant), so my opinion probably doesn't really matter anyway! LOL!

Either way, good luck! I am so excited for you. I just know this is gone to be the one for you!!

I'm praying for you!!

I think the Dr is a personal decision. You're right, the early appointments are just to "confirm" the pregnancy (assuming they wouldn't put you on progesterone, or anything like that which it sounds like they won't). So it's just a matter of checking the betas.

Personally I would want them done. That is how I found out about my 2nd m/c. One beta was 750 or so, and a few days later at 6 weeks I have an u/s and it measured behind, I was freaking out, and I had another beta done. It came back at like 709. So I knew then it wasn't viable. Personally I liked knowing beforehand.

I hope that doesn't scare you! I'm sorry if it does....I just wanted to say the decision was personal and why I would choose to have them. It really depends if it will help ease your fears or not. If you'd rather not have them done, then I think that's the right decision for you!

Congrats again, I'm so happy for you!

First off, here's some more sticky dust

Now, that's a really tough decision about the Dr! I don't really know what I would do cause I can see both sides. In the end, I'd probably end up at the Dr early on but that's just me. I don't know how you're going to keep this from your Hubby! That would totally kill me!

I know that you are keeping things quiet, so if you'd rather me not put you on the BFP list, that's totally fine... I just want you to feel comfortable! Just let me know!

Thank you ladies for your prayers, dust, and advice. I think I decided I want to go ahead and get a blood test to confirm things and have my progesterone tested and my vitamin levels checked. I'm going to tell them I'd rather not keep checking the betas though and just let things run its course. Cris, I think I want to wait awhile, I don't want to jinx anything.

That sounds like a good plan! And I completely understand about waiting... you let me know when you are ready!!!
