It's very good for some and not so good for others... so I wouldn't say not to try it.

Especially if you are being monitored closely (which I was not). My RE told me that if it's going to be successful, it is *usually* within the first 3 months, and after that he usually moves on to more testing. Since I had already done 4 rounds of it, there wasn't much he could do. I even asked him if I end up scheduling my testing for CD 3, could I start Clomid again on CD 3 next cycle (since it's after the bloodwork and u/s), and he said "why not? It's only 5 rounds, right?" I'm not sure if I will do it (it depends on which cycle day my body decides to O this cycle), but it's interesting that every doctor has a different take on it.
