Well, I guess all of that was for nothing because I got a BFN this morning. Don't ask me why in the world I tested, but I did! I am 10 DPO and some people will say "maybe it's too early", but I only have a 12 day LP in the first place, so I can expect to start spotting tomorrow.
Booooo....I hate this!

Thanks, Jackie. I think it is probably a good thing that we are taking a MA break next cycle. I think I need to get my head back in the game. This means that I won't have a baby until at least 2010, and since my birthday is Jan 1st, that means the earliest that I can possibly get pregnant is when I am 32! That part totally stresses me out.

ugh I'm so sorry! I too hope you are wrong, but I'm not going to give you the "maybe it's too early spiel" (however you spell that). Although I admit I hope it is!
I do understand the age thing, having just turned 30. Although 6 months ago the concern never crossed my mind. I have had numerous (like countless) people who have had kids in their 20s and 30s tell me they think they are "better" parents to the ones they had later. My aunt had 2 in her early 20s, then one at 32 and one at 40 and she told me now is the best time to do it (not like I'm waiting for anything except to get pregnant!).
I'm rambling, sorry! I wish I could make you feel better

even though your lp is 12 days, if you implanted today, you wouldn't have hcg until sunday. so you are NOT out girl!!! i don't want to give you false hopes, but your reasoning for it being too early isn't correct!!! most ladies don't implant till later and get a bfp at 12dpo.
don't give up yet!!! HUGS and LUCK!!!

Oh no Ash... I'm so sorry about the BFN.... I'm really gonna pray that you get a nice surprise in the next day or two.
I can kind of understand you on the age thing. I always thought I'd be done having kids by the time I was 30, but since I turn 29 next week, I'm really thinking that unless we get pregnant VERY soon and it's multiples, that won't happen. I just keep telling myself I'll be a better mother with the wisdom and life experiences I gain each year. I'm not sure that really helps, but it's worth a shot.
Lots of coming your way!

OMG are you kidding? Not a whiner at all. My goodness, girl. We all know how it feels (unfortunately) and how we have to get it off of our chest because it hurts so bad each month. Never think you're going to be gotten sick of!

Your not a whiner. It's hard every month and it only gets harder to see those negatives. I do hope that a miracle happens and it ends up being a BFP in a few days. We love ya!!!

Not a whiner at all - we all need to complain about it or we would go crazy in the silence. I hope you get a surprise in a couple days.

I agree with Lynda. I don't think you're out yet. Besides, with so many of us sending you positive vibes you can't be out yet!
And complain all you want! Goodness knows I've done my fair share of whining! I think we all need some support every now and then.

I agree with Lynda - you're not officially out yet because you could've just implanted and HCG won't show up for a while. You're not out until AF shows - and hopefully she will hold off this month. Good luck

My last m/c was 5 days before my 30th birthday. Believe me, I KNOW what it feels like to have that clock ticking!!
But all in all, 32 is still VERY young as it relates to fertility. And, if you're TTCwMA, your chance of multiples goes up, so you could still have 2-3 kids by the time you're in your mid-30s
I'm sorry about the BFN... I know it's hard to see that month after month. Lynda is right though, it takes 48-72 hours for hcg levels to be detected in urine, so if you didn't implant till 10 dpo, the earliest you would see a BFP is 12dpo.
HUGS!!
