I am Christine, and DH and I are TTC#1 also (as are quite a few of us here!). We started TTC in April of last year, but have had two miscarriages since then.
Looking forward to getting to know you.

Welcome! I'm Jackie (27), DH is Jon (28) and we've been working on baby one since Dec. 2007.. We are currently on a meds break (after 4 unsuccessful Clomid cycles) to give my body a few shots at getting pregnant before I have to schedule a lap (I have a mostly blocked tube on the right), which was found last month after an HSG.
I hope you don't have to stick around too long (because you end up with a BFP!)

Hi Aimee, welcome to the family!!! you will absolutely love it here. you won't be faced with people who have been trying for like a second and getting their bfps - not that we begrudge them their bfps, it's just when you've been trying for awhile, it's gets hard to see all the newbie bfps on their first cycle of trying. here we are a smaller family and when someone gets a bfp it's a HUGE deal!!! most of us have been trying for close to a year and some of us even longer - and for some unfortunately, alot longer.
my name is Lynda and i'm one of the co-hosts of this board. i have recently experienced my 2nd m/c in a year. we are back ttc this cycle hoping for a sticky bfp. i hope we get to share your bfp with you soon!!!! welcome again!

Welcome Aimee! I'm Cris (29) married to Shawn (33) and we're in our 23rd cycle trying for our first. After much resistance from my DH, we are finally in the process of testing and starting Medial Assistance.
I know you will love it here. Everyone here is beyond wonderful! Good luck to you and I hope you get your BFP soon!

Thanks ladies, I can't wait to get to know you guys better!
I'm sure you guys can relate when I say I never though it would be so hard/take so long to have a baby! I'm starting to get really discouraged as the cycles go by and I see BFN after BFN, what do you guys do to keep your hopes up?
I have been temping, using OPK's, we tried preseed, but I got a yeast infection, I prop my butt up after we BD for about 10-15 mins. Is there anything else I can try, my doctor said he will do testing in Aug. if we want, but he wants us to try on our own as long as possible before any intervention. So I'm up for suggestions!

Amiee, it sounds like you are doing everything that you can right now to get your BFP, just hang in there.
As for how to deal with it month by month, I think we all just go through the roller coaster together. We all have our down times, but that is what is great about the ladies here. They all totally understand the challenges. I hope you can feel the same support here!

Aimee. I'm Kimberley and DH is Jason. We're in our 12 cycle of TTC our first after a loss last year. It sounds like you're doing all that you can while TTC.

Hi Aimee, I'm Amanda (27) and DH is Michael (26) We have been TTC #1 off and on since December 2006, due to DH being deployed in the middle of it. We are currently on our 14th cycle of trying, this is after a loss in Feb of this year. I'm currently taking Clomid for the first time since the loss. We had conceived on our second cycle of Clomid the first time.
I have really enjoyed being in this smaller group of ladies. I hope that you feel the same way too.
It does sound like you are doing everything you can. Hope your stay here is short and sweet

I think we deal with it a bit better cause we have each other to relate to!!! It helps so much i can't even tell you!! I also think you're doing what you need to be successful. how's your CM? hehehehe that sounds so funny... but having fertile CM is very important and you mentioned you tried preseed, so i was wondering why?

I have EWCM a few days around when I O, I tried preseed because so many people swear by it and seem to get pg after using it. I don't think I *need* it, we've never needed to use anything before when we BDed before ttc. It was more just to see if it helped, it was more of a hinderance to me lol
