No offense to everyone, this isn't really a board I wanted to join  But I figure since I'm at that point, I should.. anyone mind a newbie? (although from scanning some posts, I already 'know' quite a few of you!).
For those that don't know me- I'm Sara (35) and my husband is David (36) and we've been TTC #1 for 6 months now (however, I JUST started cycle #8.. I have short cycles- lately they've been 25/26 days, but I've been as low as 24 in the past 6 months)- before TTC I had been on birth control for a VERY very long time and so I think it's taking quite awhile for my cycles to regulate. I always ovulate, but my cycle lengths are a bit all over sometimes.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to knowing you all!!!

OF COURSE we don't mind! Although, I am sorry that you have to join us! You probably do know almost everyone here, but you will love it. It is more quaint here and a lot less fast paced! Welcome!

Hey Sara!! We definitely do not mind!! I think you will see alot of familiar faces over here! And I completely know what you mean about not really wanting to have to join this board! The good news is this board if full of TONS of support! We all have been struggling with this journey some way or another. I just hope your stay here is short!
Also I am one of the co-hosts of the board along with Lynda so if you need anything just let one of us know!!

Our TTC journey: 6 cycles Clomid, lap surgery/ D&C, IUI, 2 x IVF; 33 cycles- BFN.
IVF#1 (March 2010) Transferred two 8-cell grade A (perfect) embies- BFN and heartbroken.
IVF#2/FET#1 (Jan/Feb 2011):Transferred two (7&8 cell) grade A (PERFECT) embies- BFN again.
March 2011- February 2012: On BCP due to endometriosis.
March 2012- taking a few months off of BCP and we are TTC naturally.
We will re-evaluate another IVF w/FET try in 2013.

Hi Sara and welcome! I'm a newbie myself on this board and I know exactly how you feel. I'm happy I get to meet new people here but I still would have prefered to get a bfp earlier. Everyone seems very nice though so I definitely don't regret joining

Welcome! I'm Juli and this was the first board I joined when I became a JM member last year. The ladies here are wonderful and it is a cozy and tight-knit group. I "graduated" a couple months ago but I still hang out because I love keeping in touch with these ladies, and I've gotten really close to many of them. I hope you enjoy your stay but that it's very short-lived!
