Can I throw something too? I got yet another BFN this morning! Headed for a meltdown soon! CD 58 today and still waiting...
I hate when someone gets it the first try too! Let's all let out a scream together!

I've been on both sides of this--easy BFP and ones I really have to work for. There is no rhyme or reason to it it seems. I wish it was always as simple as just having sex and then bam, pregnant! Even though I've been one of those women who got an easy BFP in the past, right now I'm totally with you--I'd love to punch something really hard! Every time I hear, see, read about someone's BFP (especially in the first 3 months) it's really hard for me even though I'm happy for them. I wouldn't want anyone to have to go through month after month of trying...

I think it makes this harder when you've had really easy BFPs in the past. You assume it will be just as easy again and when it's not its really hard to take.
My first pregnancy was conceived while on BCP and then after we lost the baby it took 28 months before we conceived Liam. Then another easy BFP with Loch and now again this is taking longer than expected. I'm sensing a pattern here...

I don't know if I would say that it makes it harder....I think each one of us feels like our situation is hard...to compare it to someone else's hard time of TTC would be wrong. I think we are all in the same boat...and it's HARD no matter if we have children, pregnancies, Miscarriages, or never had a BFP in our lives.

I just meant it is harder for me, personally. I didn't mean to generalize (I tend to do that when I don't mean to) and I'm sorry if I offended anyone.

Last month after I got my BFN I threw a piece of string cheese at the door b/c it was not opening easily and I was frustrated with not being pregnant , so I can say I HAVE actually thrown things over not being pregnant.
