i hope it's okay i post here. i just have a question and thought that you ladies might be able to help. I have been thinking about this for a few days and thought that I might come and ask you for your options on this. I’m on cycle 9 and had 1 m/c on cycle 4. I know it takes a while to TTC but to me it seems like forever. My question is do you think I should go talk to me dr about why or what i can do help help things out. or do you think it would be useless?

Can't hurt to ask. I went in to my doctor after 8 cycles. Good Luck!

I saw my doctor on my 9th cycle because I was having insane amounts of midcycle spotting. We started MA on my 11th cycle. I saw it never hurts to ask. All they can do is say no.

I have read a lot of ladies that had gotten a BFP "early" on were made to wait a year before help would be given... not my experience, so I can't speak for anyone, just throwing that out there. All doctors are different. I wasn't ovulating on my own, so I went in around the 8th month and started on Clomid to help me ovulate. We didn't have the s/a done until our 12th month and the HSG done in month 13.

I wish you loads of luck- and you should stick around here!! The ladies here are great!

Our TTC journey: 6 cycles Clomid, lap surgery/ D&C, IUI, 2 x IVF; 33 cycles- BFN.
IVF#1 (March 2010) Transferred two 8-cell grade A (perfect) embies- BFN and heartbroken.

IVF#2/FET#1 (Jan/Feb 2011):Transferred two (7&8 cell) grade A (PERFECT) embies- BFN again.
March 2011- February 2012: On BCP due to endometriosis.

March 2012- taking a few months off of BCP and we are TTC naturally.
We will re-evaluate another IVF w/FET try in 2013.

i don't think talking to someone would be a waste of time. see how it goes. i know m/c's are really hard on the body. i hear how fertile you are after a m/c and i just have to laugh, cause i've had two m/c's and after, my cycles are totally screwed up. it takes some time for our bodies to truly get back to normal. I agree that it doesn't hurt to ask. My Dr. won't intervene until 1 year of trying, but she did test my FSH levels for me before then though.

I don't see anything wrong with trying to go and see what they can do to help you. But I would say be prepared that they may not want to do and interventions until after a year. I hope the best for you though

I also don't see the problem with asking... my Dr wouldn't do anything until we tried for a year, but I O regularly and there were no known issues. We actually waited about 18 months to talk with my Dr and start testing. Plus our insurance wouldn't cover anything infertility wise until we had documentation that we had been trying for a year (I had a preconception appointment 2 months before we started and that worked). Good luck!
