Hey everyone! I'm sick and tired of waiting so I finally called my Dr. She is sending me for a round of blood tests tomorrow morning and is going to put a rush on it because she is leaving for vacation monday. I should know by thursday at the latest, maybe even in the pm tomorrow. I'm happy about that because Ì'm leaving for Boston for the weekend thursday afternoon and don't think I'll be able to have any fun at all if that was still on my mind! Finally, an answer either way! So if it's neg. she wants to see me on may 19th to do more tests to figure out what's up with my cycles. I guess this is a step in the right direction no matter how it goes, so I'm a bit relieved.
Now I'm just praying for a BFP! I'll let you all know what happens!

Another BFN pee stick this morning...hoping for better luck on the blood test. I'm leaving soon, it's almost 6:30 am here and the blood clinic opens at 7:00 so the earlier I go in, the earlier she'll have the results!
It's weird, I'm still kinda hopeful because it's CD 59 today and still no sign of AF (but I can't really say I have any pg symptoms either, so dunno what to think!) but all the BFNs I've been having are making me wonder...will know soon enough I guess.
Right now I'm so scared\nervous\anxious\relieved\happy\hopeful all at the same time, it's such a rollercoaster! I took the whole day off from work anyways, so I'm gonna pack for our weekend trip while I wait to see if the Dr's office calls today or not. I'll probably be around on JM most of the day to help pass the wait.
And thanks to all of you! I can't even begin to tell you how happy I am I decided to join you ladies on this board! Especially during this realy frustrating time for me. You've all been absolutely great and very helpful!

Sorry about the BFN on the HPT, but I hope the blood test comes back positive! Good luck!

Do you often have long cycles like this? Do you know for sure you ovulated? Long cycles like this without a positive HPT leads me towards thinking maybe you have PCOS. Have you ever looked at the symptoms list to see if you had any others? I have PCOS (though I don't have the long cycles/few cycles a year) but I have a majority of the symptoms.

HUGS, I'm sorry.... Unfortunately, I also have experience with those long cycles that end in a BFN. I don't have PCOS like Christina was mentioning though (at least my silly OB never told me I did after having bloodwork). It sounds like it was probably an annovulatory cycle... one more reason why charting is a great idea!

Just got up a while ago and of course DH and I got into it. He moves on much faster than I do and just kind of turns the page and starts hoping for next cycle already, I'm not quite there yet. I've had a few long cycles like this since I hot off bc last summer, but this is the longest one so far. Never had any of the PCOS signs (my sister has most of them and they have been ttc for 5.5 yrs now with no luck either) except for long cycles. Most of the time I don't even have cramps or anything, so I don't think I have PCOS, but we're definitly going to check into it further when I see my Dr. in May. In the meantime, just gonna try to start picking myself up off the floor I guess. This has definitly been my biggest upset so far (a close second was at xmas when I went 56 days.) I'm not really in the mood to leave with DH for Boston tomorrow, but I hope it will end up being a good trip and will help take my mind off this stuff for a bit. And no, I'm not sure if I O'ed this month or not because we didn't do the OPKs this time but did a whole lot of BDing anyways this month so I was still kinda hopeful I guess. I know I should never get my hopes up like this, but it's hard not to when you just want it so bad.
Thanks for the hugs and I will let you all know how the weekend went when I get back monday. Going to do my best to have fun.

I haven't had cramps in years (since before I went on the pill when I was 17) and I have been off the pill for over 3 years. Definitely ask your doctor about it -all they did to test me was an ultrasound (pelvic and transvag) and if it was me and I still hadn't gotten AF by Monday I would request some sort of help to get her to come along. You don't have to - but that would be what I would do.
Feel free to PM me if you have any PCOS questions.
