I wanted to introduce myself, I'm Addie (33) and on my 7th cycle TTC (almost 9th month). I've been posting on the TTC #1 board on and off for a bit, but thought I would pop in here and say hello. I hate to admit this - I really do - but, it's getting hard to be on that board. At first all the BFPs excited me, but now it scares me a bit that I'm on perhaps the start of a long journey. It's not that I'm not happy for the girls, because I am, but I just feel conflicted and a bit like this is never going to happen to me. I know that for some of you who have had the courage and strength to keep trying a year and two years, that my complaining probably seems out of place, but I thought I would share.
I hope to get to know all of you and thanks.

Welcome! I know how you feel, I used to post on #1 all the time and now I never do.

Anyway, I'm April (22) married to Jeff (23). We're going into Month 19 of TTC our first. Currently we're in the middle of our first IVF w/ ICSI cycle.

I used to post in ttc board, but it got too hard to see all the bfps with women on their first and second cycles as mine just kept ending in bfn's. you're right, it's not that we begrudge anyone a bfp!!!! i chose to switch and come here when a woman posted that she was devastated and needed help because she got a bfn after cycle #1. it was simply more than i could stomach. so someone recommended i try it here and i've been here ever since. LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT... I have never met a better bunch of supportive efriends!!!!

my name is lynda and i'm on cycle 15 i think, i've lost count... i've had two m/c's in the last year. i'm praying for a sticky bfp soon. welcome to our family, please feel free to jump in and post. hugs

I think we all can relate to how you feel! The turn over on TTC#1 has gotten so quick that I barely recognize many people there anymore.

I'm Cris married to Shawn and we're in our 23rd cycle... Hope your stay here is short!

I agree we definitely know how you feel!! I was a very active member of the TTC#1 board for a very long time, but now I barely post. The flow of BFPs just got to be too much for me! This group of girls are amazing though! And I definitely feel like I can tell them anything and they will understand!! I really think you will love it here! Welcome!!

I am Alicia (22 23 in a week) BTW, DH is Michael (23) and we have been TTC#1 for 23 months now. We have tried Medical Assistance on and off and will be going full force ahead again in May. We all can relate with that... I was very active in ttc#1 (and I still post but not nearly as much)... this is easily my "home" board now... we're a small group, but very close and can definitelyl relate to one another better than anywhere else.

I do recognize your name, but I'll still do the intro- I'm Jackie (27), DH is Jon (28), and we're on month 17 of ttc our first. I hope you stick around here!

I agree with the others. we have all been through what you are feeling currently. I think that you will love it here. We are a smaller group and each BFP here is a long awaited one. Whether it's been 6 months or 2 + years.
I'm Amanda (28) and DH is Michael (26) we have been TTC #1 since December 2006 with a year and four month break while he was deployed. We had a miscarriage in Feb and have been trying again. I pray your stay here is short and sweet.

Hey Addie.. Welcome.. I just joined this board last week.. and I love it.. these girls are awesome.. and all realy nice.. and diff. show how much they care.. My name is Jade.. I just turned 26 a few weeks ago.. and we have been ttc#2 for almost 20 months now. So Welcome again.. and can't wait to get to know you.

Hi! I'm Lisa (26) and DH is Marc (30). We have been together for almost 10 years now (wow, realizing time flies!) and got married last July. We have been TTC our first ever since! I can definitly relate to how your feeling, as most of us have mentioned. That is exactly why I decided to join this board too. Everyone here is very considerate of each others' feelings because we are all going through the same emotions, and we can talk about them freely and help each other out through the tough times. This board is absolutetly great and I'm glad you decided to join us! Looking forward to getting to know you!
