Hey Ladies, I'm home now (finally)..
They got 9 mature eggs (13 total) and expect at least an 80% fertilization rate. I'm in pain but doing alright otherwise... They gave me some fentanyl in my IV and it didn't really help... also gave me some percocet to take at home - but I'm convinced I'm allergic (mildly) to it so I'm afraid to take it (yes I told them, they think it was a reaction to the anesthesia and not the percocet), I might anyway though, I hurt.
O yeah - Guess What??.. Jeff's count post-was was 2 MILLION!! OMG can you believe it??? ( for our first IUI it was 357,000 and the second one was 950,000).. The Clomid REALLY works!! He's extremely proud of himself right now lol..
Well, thats it.. I'm just laying on the couch taking it easy.. hopefully I feel better soon.. They'll be calling tomorrow with our fertilization report *fingers crossed*
UPDATED
Well I got the call this morning with our fertilization report... I don't know what happened if they made a mistake in telling me the right numbers or if I (and my DH) completely misunderstood They actually only got 9 eggs total - 7 which wound up being mature and 6 fertilized.. We're a little bummed right now.. and I'm def. bitter that they understimulated me so bad.. but we just have to hope for the best right now.. I know it only takes one - but really don't want to hear that right now..
Transfer is on Monday at 10:30am.

I love great updates like this. Congrats to both of you. Hopefully you have more than 80% fertilization. I can't wait for all your updates coming up.

WOOHOO!!! What great news! I'm sorry that you are in so much discomfort. I don't think they ever even gave me anything for pain in my IV... were you knocked out for it? I was... and only experienced cramping afterwards. I was in less discomfort the next day, but I was throwing up and had irritable bowels.... I dunno. I really hope you get to feeling better!

6 fertilized is still something good- I'm praying that the quality is amazing, and that you end up with (at least!) a beautiful baby bean out of this...
