I was talking with Gracie..(when I was trying to explain to her about getting a cousin) she told me that her sisters name will be Isabella.. Well I actually love that name.. I always have.. Well I was looking up baby names the other night.. and Isabella means God is my Oath.. and I also loved the name Avari.. which means Of the Heaven,from the sky..

So I think if we have another girl her name will be Isabella Avari I really love the way it sounds together.. and I have been trying to find a name that I really love.. and when I said the 2 names together I loved the way it sounds.

so either Isabella Avari .. or.. Jackson James

I love the name Isabella. DH's cousin is named that. The middle name is different, but I think it flows well together! Nice work Gracie!

That is one thing that DH and I will probably have a hard time with, finding a name. Being a teacher, I don't like names that are too common or that remind me of very difficult students that I have had (and each year I find more names I don't want like at school, so this better not take too long or I won't like any names! hehe! Not really, but it gets harder...) and he is bad about finding rhymes that other kids could use to pick on them (I know it sounds stupid, but that's how his head works! ). Plus we will want a french name that sounds good in english as well....Ahhh!

All that stuff being said, I LOVE how Isabella Avari sounds, classic (Isabella) but different at the same time (Avari)! Plus it will be even more special because your daughter helped pick it! I love Jackson too for a boy. I may need help when (if?...no, when!) the time comes!

Oh, I know.. She is so ready to be a big sister.. and once the time comes I want to keep her involved as much as possible.. The last thing I want is for her to feel like she's being replaced with a new baby.. I want to make sure she knows she will be mommys big helper. Also I do think its cute to let her pick the name.. my little cousin named her little sister too..its so sweet.

I know what you mean about being careful picking a name that kids will not pick about.. and I had a hard time settling with a name for Grace.. and I do like to be different..and the name Jackson is in honor of my Grandpa how passed away 7 years ago.. His name was Jack.. and I have a uncle named Jack.. I have always loved the name Jackson..so I figured not having 2 Jacks.. I would just go with a Jackson..and James is DH's name.

Great name. I like Isabella too, but I think it too close to our second girls name - we will see.
