When every large purchase includes the thought of "what if we have a baby"... The last one of these big purchases was our truck (with a full extended cab- 4 door), and the next is cemetery plots! We're buying 4!

I am concerned about my sanity - yesterday I decided we should go see my family in NY (my DH has never met my mother, she has never seen AJ other than pics, we dont' have the greatest of relationships but she is going to be 60 and not in the best of health, etc) and if we go when I think we will, I could have a newborn (3 months or less if we got pregnant this month or next month) and we will drive. So a drive halfway across the country with a 3 year old and a baby.

we just went through this also! I drive an SUV so when it was time for Chris to get something to drive, we decided he needed something to fit at least 2 car seats.. in case we have twins! So we bought an extended cab truck as well! lol

I also picked out our SUV with a baby and our dogs in mind. I have a box full of baby clothes, a glider chair, and one of those paci's with a net you can put fruit in.

Oh, theres a lot for me! Over thinking larger purchases, even buying clothes (you know, I might not be able to wear it in a few weeks etc), but the thing that I do a lot that makes me think I'm certifiable is that even though I know I've gotten my AF, a few days later, I'll start thinking, what if I'm one of those people who still bleeds monthly once their pregnant... and I'll want to test. It drives my DH nuts.

Probably the fact that I screamed at the pharmacy tech last night when they said they were STILL waiting on a refill approval for my progestrone therapy... I had run out of pills and a drop in my progestrone could bring on my period early and ruin my chances of pregnancy... I was so flipping angry... I'm calling the big guns today to place a formal complaint.

not to mention I have burned my eyes on many occasions holding hpts up to lights to get a "better look"... typically studying them on and off for a full day before admitting defeat and throwing them away.

I thought of another! I keep my OPKs from the current cycle until AF comes... because what *if* she doesn't come?!? Then I have the first start to my scrapbook of pregnancy- the LH surge!

I'm what I call a ''SERIAL TESTER'' when I'm really sick of waiting and get into ''BFP MODE'' it's like I'm on a mission and I test every day sometimes, even if I know HCG levels only double every 2-3 days I keep trying sometimes right up until AF comes...I've actually been good these past few weeks because I feel like temping is my knew obsession (just like Jackie!). I also have to stop myself from bying baby stuff all the time, or else I would already have a nursery probably set up, hehehe! My sister and BIL have been TTC #1 for almost 6 yrs now, so I try to remind myself not to start buying stuff yet just in case we end up like them, so there will be less to remind us of what we don't have...but I definitly hope I get to go ALL OUT on baby stuff soon!
