Cause I'm really not good at it! LOL... I knew this would happen! I'm getting close to my normal O time. (I can just tell by my body signs- they're hard to ignore) and all I want to do is make sure we get lots of BDing in. Fortunately, I'll be seeing Shawn for the first time in a week tonight and I'm sure we'll have a very nice "reunion".

I actually IMed him the other night and asked him if he thought it would be a good idea to make sure he got all the old swimmers out of his system so that if we actually had a shot this cycle we had nice fresh ones waiting for when we saw each other. So yeah, Im not very good at this NTNP thing. Or as we like to call it, "TIWCDNP" (Trying if we can, definitely not preventing) I know- give it up on the "funnies" Cris (Here I'll roll my eyes at myself for you )

I seriously knew that I wouldn't be able to let go completely... I just know myself all too well!

LOL I know what you mean, it's hard to ignore every little sign when you've trained yourself to watch for it for so many months! I though about taking the more relaxed approach and realized I would guilt myself out of it! LOL

I say do what you're doing. You aren't temping, right? So that's one less stress (lol, listen to me? I'm a temping addict). No OPKS, no temping, etc., who can help if you BD when you want to? If it just so happens to be around fertile, so be it!

Our TTC journey: 6 cycles Clomid, lap surgery/ D&C, IUI, 2 x IVF; 33 cycles- BFN.
IVF#1 (March 2010) Transferred two 8-cell grade A (perfect) embies- BFN and heartbroken.

IVF#2/FET#1 (Jan/Feb 2011):Transferred two (7&8 cell) grade A (PERFECT) embies- BFN again.
March 2011- February 2012: On BCP due to endometriosis.

March 2012- taking a few months off of BCP and we are TTC naturally.
We will re-evaluate another IVF w/FET try in 2013.

Cris, we are NTNP and basically just having sex any way and whenever we feel like it. I am approaching O also, but I think DH is going to be out of town anyway. Actually, he is travleing most of May and almost all of June, so unless I O on weekends the next two months are out.

Someone once told me that NTNP is still trying. After trying this long I don't think I could NOT try anymore!

Good Luck tonight with TIWCDNP!

Exactly... I am usually very intune with my body, so it's really hard to ignore the obvious!

Yeah, no temping, OPKs or any of that. I even forgot to bring my pre-conceive stuff this weekend. OH well, while I still like to use the stuff even when I'm not fertile, we'll deal! LOL And I'm certainly not going to not DTD just to prove that I can NTNP!

Awww, I'm sorry he's going to be away so often. I'm only really seeing my DH on the weekends too, so I'm kinda in the same boat and it sucks.

NTNP is practically impossible when you know how to read your body's signs. It was much easier before I knew anything about TTC.

Good luck TIWCDNP!!
