lots a lookers here, but only april had the gumption to answer. i know its a hard question...

my hero is my father!!! he worked his entire life to support a family. he worked alot and hard. we didn't see him much. he always told us that when the family was secure financially, he would be around. by the time the family got as financially secure as we were going to get, my mom got sick and died. it was heartbreaking for him. he sat around for years, till he met a wonderful woman, much like my mother. now he is retired and living a second life. he spends time with my children/his grandchildren, but he never forgets my mom! he's had a many struggles, but it doesn't keep him down!!!

My Mom is my hero... she raised me for quite a few years on her own, while working a full time job.

My Grandma is my hero... she came to America from Sicily on her own with 2 children while my Grandpa stayed in Italy. She built a home, started her own business, raised her children and all on her own while my Grandpa worked on coming to America to join her. She worked hard all of her life, raised 4 fantastic children, survived the loss of twins, gave to others constantly and knew how to make the most wonderful memories from the simplest things in life. She bravely battled cancer for the last several years of her life and never complained once. She also raised one of my other hero's- My Daddy...
