So, I have been really unsure of when I o'd. FF says CD16, but I had a little bit of a batch of EWCM on CD20. Because of my short LPs, I'm supposed to take progesterone on the third day following my positive OPK, but I haven't started it because I'm really not a 100% sure I O'd. Then today I had a huge drop. Now, this could be an implanation dip or it could be further indication that I did not O.

What do you think? Poor DH Is so concerned that if it is an implantation dip, that I need to start my progesterone immediately, because my progesterone plumets on day 8. But, if I didn't O and this is some crazy pre-o drop, then I'm ruining Ovulating because once I take the progesterone, there goes ovulation.

My doctor says take the progesterone because he swears by OPK sticks. But, I'm not so sure because I've gotten several positives in a row before (that didn't happen this time) and then this mornings one was not a positive, but the way it looks a few days before a positive.

Please, I really need some advice. And I appreciate it a lot.

Addie

Hmmm....I am really not sure what you should do. If you can wait until tomorrow's temp, I think you would have a better picture.

Thanks Ash. I really get nervous about taking the progesterone too soon. Because I was out of town, I can't get bloodwork to confirm the O, so I'm left relying on my temps and the OPKs, both of which I hate. I'll see if tomorrow's temp is high.

I hate how the doctor is so certain about OPKs being the answer. When I say I want to wait for my temp shift, he thinks I'm crazy.

HAHA, they are all like that. Mine told me that I should "relax" and not worry about temping. I am like, "are you crazy, woman??" Really though, I am so back and forth about whether I think you have O'ed or not. Either way, if your progesterone drops out at 8 DPO and tomorrow is 6 DPO, it seems like that would still be enough time to start taking the progesterone if in fact you did O.

I can deal with getting a bfn (sort of), but I don't like the idea that I pulled the trigger too soon preventing me from Oing.

I guess if tomorrow's temp is high, I have to pull the trigger and just go for it. I'm getting negative OPKs, so why am I totally convinced I didn't O??? I've gone mad!

I agree with Ash. Wait for tomorrow's temp. If it stays up, start the progesterone. You should be ahead of implantation.

Good luck!
