I went to the Dr today and asked them to draw another Beta to make sure that everything was ok. My symptoms just stopped on Thursday. Well it looks like my fears were right. My levels were only 1028. They should have been 9,000-12,0000. So now I wait to pass it. DH and I don't know quite what the next step will be right now. I'm still waiting for the Dr to call me back. I do know that we want to start trying as soon as possible. Thank you ladies for all your support through this. I hope that you will have me back.
Update: I went in for the sono because the Dr wanted to see what was going on. He was afraid that it was an ectopic but thankfully it was not. He found that the baby never developed past 5 weeks. So I've had another missed miscarriage. He said that we can wait for another week and a half and if I still have not passed it then he strongly recommends having a D & C because of infection. It's been a really hard day today. I think that it finally hit me that we have lost another baby. DH and I both just cried tonight. I've really tried holding out hope that everything might just turn out alright and I might be that less than five percent that have really low HCG levels and go on to have a healthy baby. Today made me realize that it is really over...again. I don't know how I'm ever going to be excited and not scared when I have another pregnancy. The Dr. said that all my hormone levels look better than perfect for this pregnancy. He seems to think that we are just having a bad luck run, and that we are just falling into that 1 in every 3 pregnancies ends in a miscarriage statistics. It's just not fair.

the nurse called back again and said that the Dr thought that my levels were "appropriate for how far along we are". I've done the math though...it just doesn't add up. on 14 DPO it was 72, then at 16 DPO it was 179 which would mean that my levels were doubling ever 1.5 days. Which is great!!!!, but I did the math from 16 DPO till today which it was 1028 @ 28 DPO. Accordng to my math calculation it should be 11,500 approximately, not 1028. I'm at a loss right now. The nurse told me that the Dr wants me to come in on Thursday as scheduled so that they can do a sono. I honestly think that he did not look at my previous levels and compare the math.
thank you for all the well wishes. I'm just numb and confused right now. I just want to know why this keeps happening.

I'm so sorry Amanda! There may just be a slump in your beta levels, I've heard of that happening within the first few weeks....they don't always keep doubling for some women but can restart further along. I'm still hoping you'll get better news soon and find out what's going on. And of course you can join up again, you'll always be welcome here!

Wow! I looked at those levels and they definitly vary A LOT! For example, week 6 is 1050 to 55000+ or something like that. Woah! Thanks Lynda, I found that very interesting!

well the nurse called back this morning. She had the Dr look at the numbers again, because they were so busy yesterday. Well the DR said that numbers are not right. They are having me come in tomorrow for another level check to see if the numbers are decreasing on their own. So now I just wait to miscarry. Thank you again ladies.
