I guess it's time for me to join this board...

I mostly hang out at TTC#1 and TTC boards, but now that my 6th cycle TTC is turning out unsuccessful, I'll be getting to know you ladies too.

My DH and I are both 27 and are TTCing our first since Nov 2008. I started charting in January '09, and since then noticed that my LP is very short (7-9 days), I had one super long annovulatory cycle, and lots of random spotting! I started taking Vitex in March to help balance my cycles, but now I'm thinking I will be stopping it, since I'm 7DPO today and I've been spotting non-stop for the past 2 weeks! It might be Vitex, from what I read. I also started B6 last month, but so far it's not getting me anywhere... 7DPO today and spotting is so heavy, it's almost AF

I've called my OBGYN today and made an appointment for June 1st. I'm planning to show him all my charts, now that I have something to show maybe he'll be able to figure something out for me, or send me to someone who can.

I'm feeling very down today, so please forgive the negative tone.. I'm hoping to get to know you ladies better soon!

The ladies here are great! I think you had joined a while ago- at some point I added your chart to our chart stalking room sticky- but I hadn't seen you post over here in a while! I think that making the appt. was a very good idea. HUGS

hi there and welcome!!! i'm sorry you have been unsuccessful getting pregnant. we totally know how you feel. it took me 8 months to get a bfp and then i m/c'd. then another 4 months to get pregnant again and i m/c'd that baby too. so 16 cycles later, i'm still trying...

i think it's good to get into see your dr. cause spotting during the luteal phase isn't ideal. can be a sign of low progesterone. do you chart/temp?

i think you'll really like it here, the ladies are fabulous!!!! welcome again!!!

Hi, and welcome. I'm sorry you are having short LPs. I have the same thing and started on progesterone three cycles ago. I also came off BCP and think that maybe my body is still adjusting. Progesterone increased my LP from 7 days to 9 days. This cycle, I am on a higher dose of progesterone and taking B6.

I hope your stay here is very short and that your LP increases!

Welcome and good luck with your appt. I know how the weeks of spotting can be - before clomid I started spotting at 7dpo and on clomid it streched out to 10-12dpo. Keep us posted and don't be a stranger.

I am Alicia 23 and DH is Mike 23...we have been TTC for almost 24 months now.. BLAH!!! I think it is great that you made an appt....and just an FYI the ladies here are great so you will truly love it!! Good Luck!

Welcome!!! I'm Lisa (26) and DH is Marc (30). We've been TTC our first with no luck yet since July '08. I'm fairly new to the board too, I've only been posting for a month or two maybe and I can say that the girls here are absolutely great!!! Any time your down, or need to share great news, or just want to talk about anything at all, there's always someone here to listen, and we all know how important that is when TTC!!! I'm looking forward to getting to know you!
