Saturday my BIL brought a whole bunch of outside stuff for AJ that his kids had outgrown (heavy duty plastic pool with a drain, large play structure with slide and swing, and a sandbox) then went to celebrate a friends birthday that night.

Sunday we braved the rain and went to a store and out to dinner. Monday (today) DH is smoking a brisket - I picked up a different sandbox (we are going to keep that one and maybe use the other as a second pool or something) and I have some cooking in my near future (gotta make a cake and salad).

I've had a pretty yucky weekend with not feeling well at all and all this pain, but it was nice not having to miss work because of it. DH really knows how to take care of me.

we are havin a cook out.. i made home made burger patties.. and we are havin dr. pepper ice pops for after dinner.. yummy.. i can't wait to try them

We moved into our new house, went to the Astros vs. Rangers game on Sunday, and have been relaxing for the most part today.
