I was WAAAAY naive and thought maybe 3 months at the most. I swear everyone I know gets pregnant "accidentally" or after "trying" 2 months. I have a whole new appreciation for "trying" to conceive now. I'll be onto month 9 if AF shows in the next couple of days.

I also thought I would be knoked up in 3 to 6...now I'm starting to think in terms of years instead of months. But things seem to be turning in my direction in every other aspect of my life lately, so we'll see!

My SIL and BIL tried for 10 months before conceiving their first. So I thought surely that it would happen before then. With AF's arrival, today makes 18 months. BOOOOOOOO!!!

I thought 4-6 months... I would have never guessed that I'd still be trying after 22 months...

I thought 5, max. I am on ten months consecutive, and a year total, because of the deployment. I hope my gyno will test us for infertility regardless. Because of the military, it is very unlikely we will ever have a consecutive year of TTC.

to be honest I never put a maximum on it.. I knew from age 15 (when I got my PCOS dx) that it was going to take me a while.
