I'm on cd 20, and I'm 5 dpo, or at least I think I am. But today I noticed some pinkish cm and I'm confused. Everything I see around here says that if IB happens, its on 8 dpo. I've also read somewhere before that around ovulation you may have some pinkish/orangish cm too. Is that true?

I started trying to check my cervical position about two weeks ago, but, I'm not sure how well I can gage things by that. But today, it does seem softer, and...swollen?

Does this sound like ovulation? I guess my real question is, is it possible/normal to not ovulate until cd 20 in what is typically a 29 day cycle?

[b]I have heard of women having reddish cm around the time they ovulate. I also check my position and when im ovulating my cervix is soft and it feels kind of swollen just like yours did.

It's possible that you're just going to have a longer cycle this month and could be ovulating on CD 20. High, soft, and swollen usually points to ovulation, and yes, you can have orange-pink CM around that time. It's supposed to be a sign of good, strong ovulation!!! BUT, you can also have IB at 5 DPO. 8 is just the average. For one pregnancy, I didn't have it until 11 DPO...

I hope it's IB, or at least ovulation!!! Keep us updated!

Psst, Lean over so I can whisper =P I've been keeping quiet, because I don't want to jinx it, but I think maybe I had IB on 8 dpo.
