so the nurse calls today..says my progesterone came back okay...i asked her what the # was from day 21..she says 5, then goes on to say that day 10 was .6 so to go up to 5 is real good. Does anyone know if this is true? i could of sworn 5 seems LOW. i asked her about clomid..she says when i hit a year of ttc, if im not preg they will consider it. im pretty upset. maybe i dont need to be but i could of sworn 5 seems REAL low =/ please help me with advice

Hmmm....according to my doc 5 is low. It apparantly shows some type of ovulation, but more than likely not a good ovulation. She said that 10 and up is considered good. When my first result was 9.6 she thought that was a little on the low side and mentioned Clomid for me. My second test went up to 12.6 and she said it was good but still wants me on Clomid, I guess since I am on month 13 of actively trying, DH s/a is fine, and no BFP yet. She also said even a good progesterone level doesn't guarantee everything is working fine, could still have issues with immature eggs and need clomid to help improve egg quality, so I guess she wants me on it to give me a little boost, and I am to the point where I am all for it. I would definitely discuss the results with your doc...my docs nurse assistant told me 9.6 was in the normal range, but doc said it wasn't that great so definitely talk to your doc.

yeah im gonng leave a message of a dr. to call me. i havent even see a dr. yet..i have been working this nurse the whole time..i really like her..she just is soo relaxed or something..i need someone who is willing to try stuff for me

I hope it all works out for you.
I have had a scan and that was fine, everything where it should be etc,
and DB has had sperm count which is fine.
But we are are on mth 21 of ttc and that is surely not fine
I keep going the Dr and getting told it takes some couples 2 yrs
and to come back at that point... Well it will be 2yrs in may and i will be 25,
So i am going back then and demanding some more tests.
They just seem to think i am obsessive i think.
I surely deserve some explanation as to why i am still not pg right...?

yes you do! im sorry they havent done some more tests for ya..have you considered starting fresh at a new dr.?

Mine was 7.9 and my Dr told me that mine was low and gave me Clomid I would for sure talk to the DR and see what they have to say.

My doctor likes to see CD 21 at 12 or up!!!!! Good luck to you.

5 seems low. Mine was 8 and my dr put me on Clomid. Apparently 5 or over indicates ovulation but most doctors like to see 10 or more.
