do you have a craft or cooking tip, or receipe you'd like to share?

for instance a tip you might give is - when making rice krispie treats, i add 50% more marshmellows than the receipe calls for. they are awesome!!!

I usually fill my muffin pans with a measuring cup so every one will come out about the right size. My friend puts it in ziploc bags and snips a whole in the bottom to fill - she says it is less mess.

When I'm making hamburger patties, I add 1/2 a ranch seasoning packet, pepper, garlic salt, and a dash of cayenne pepper to the meat, mix it in and then shape the patties.

Occaisonally, I'll put the cheese in the middle of the burgers, so it's nice and ooey gooey when you bite into it.

Seasoned burgers are way better than just putting the meat on the grill.

When you have bananas that have gotten really ripe, throw them in the freezer. Then when you feel like making banana bread, just defrost them!

This is to go along with the banana's in the freezer, when you make the banana bread, right before you put it in the oven sprinkle sugar on top (a good layer, not too much- not too little) and when it bakes it makes the top crusty and sweet and it looks like the banana bread from bakeries!

well there is a very good receipe for lemon/lime chicken.. great for a healthy summer time meal..

I take 3 boneless/skinless chicken breast (1 smaller one for Gracie..and one per person)
They have to be totally thawed out.. I put the chicken in a large ziploc bag.. and i pour a little bit of olive oil over each piece of chicken.. then I put a heaping spoon full of chocked or menced garlic.. then I take the "Grill Mate" chicken rub and sprinkle some over all the top layers of the chicken.. Then the last step.. I take a lemon.. and a lime.. and squeeze the juice out of each one..until i can't get any more juice out of them.. After all that I close up the ziploc bag.. and make sure the bag is closed thight.. then I shake up the chicken to get everything evenly coated.. I put in in the fridge and let it marinate for 3-4 hours.. or you could let it sit over night.. ANYways.. when I'm ready to cook it I love the way it comes out when its grilled on the bar bee que pit.. I put the chicken on the grill then i slowly pour the left over marinate over the chicken before i flip it over.. when grilling do not cut into the chicken otherwise all the juice comes out.. just put the chicken on the grill and close the lid.. when its golden brown on both sizes its done.. I usually make rice with it.. and I make like a veggi or a fresh salad to go with it.. it is so yummy.. and very juicey and flavorful..

for a yummy light treat after wards.. take a slice of fat-free angel food cake..and put some fresh berries on top (or any kind of fruit you like) and some lite or fat-free koolwhip..

both go great together and make an awesome summer dish!! its one of my favs... the best part is.. DH and DD love it.. and its healthy for you..and very diet!!

Ribbon and Buttons make a great way to spice up any home made card or craft project.

Also, a great potatoe recipee is:
INGREDIENTS:
2 pounds frozen hashbrown squares
1/2 cup melted margarine
1/2 cup chopped onion or less
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
one 10.5 ounce can of cream of chicken soup
1 pint of sour cream or less
2 cups grated cheddar cheese

TOPPING INGREDIENTS:
2 cups crushed cornflakes mixed with
3 tablespoons of melted butter

INSTRUCTIONS:
1)Mix ingredients (not topping) together in a buttered 13 by 9 cake pan
2)then mix and add topping.
3)bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees for one hour (the pan is uncovered)

YUM YUM!!!! It goes great with Steak or Hamburgers!
