So DH and I were BDing tonight to "celebrate" our anniversary and of course O time again, and it got me thinking. I dont always O during intercourse. Not because I am not enjoying it, but sometimes I just dont. So my questions are...

Do you ladies always reach the big O?

Also I have heard that stimulating yourself after your DH has done his part can increase your chances. Has anyone ever heard of this working? Has anyone ever tried it?

I know I sound crazy, but since we are hitting the two year mark in two days I am willing to try absolutely ANYTHING! haha

Any special suggestions?

No, I don't always reach the big O either. I think that's quite normal. I've heard of many women never even having one ever, so I think we should at least be happy with what we have. An I have heard that if you climax around O you have a better chance of concieving because the contractions dip the cervix further to let in more sperm and can help push along sperm that is already in the canal. I hope that helps! Good luck!

Ditto.

I always O during intercourse, except once when dh and i dtd for about 5 days in a row. I have been told that I have a smaller than average clitoris, and so we always have to stimulate when having relations. (I apologize if that is TMI)....

I don't stimulate myself afterwards, but I do know someone who said she further stimulated herself in the shower after they dtd and she got pregnant afterwards.

i have been told that having an orgasm after DH releases his swimmers is good. this is because the contractions of the orgasm suck the sperm into the uterus and they get where they need to go faster, thus being stronger when waiting for the egg. what i recommend is don't have an O till after DH is done. Then have him stimulate you to O. G/L

I've heard the same thing... That it creates a vacuum effect if you O after your DH. I don't know if it's true or not, but I usually try to make sure I O after DH does anyhow.
