I posted about this in ttc #1 also, but hope you guys might know what i'm talking about.

So its cd 19 and i'm finally get - opks and was told I have/had a large ovulation cyst (though I hope she was meaning follie) and would let me know when the blood work comes back if I have. Now what i'm worried about is since sunday i've been having a really awful pain like by my right ovary. I first felt it when we dtd, but then wasn't sure if it was gas since I had an ultrasound monday and it didn't hurt during that. But today while walking around I started to feel it again and now on both sides.

Could it be an actual cyst and if so does that mean this cycle will be a bust??

It could have been a pulled muscle (that happened to me before after DTD) or ovulation. But since you are getting negatives on your OPK that seems less than likely. I think I would wait for your bloodwork.

Christina...you are hardcore!!!

Have you asked if that could be from your diagnosis of PCOS? I've been reading up on PCOS because I have my pelvic ultrasound tomorrow to check for that, and I have read that cysts on the ovaries can be small or they can get quite large and be painful.

I figured it could have been from PCOS, but i've heard of girls getting cysts and the cycle being a bust so I was really worried about it since i'm trying so hard for this to work. Thank you girls so much for replying.

I'm hoping its from one of those though.

I'm not really sure what it could be, but hopefully you'll get the bw results back soon and can figure it out!

I didn't notice your TTC with PCOS blinkie before, but if you have PCOS it is pretty much guaranteed you will have cysts. The pain could have been cysts bursting.

It could be from the PCOS, I know that the cycles that I got pregnant I had cysts on my ovaries, it's what provides the progesterone for the implantation and continued growth of the embryo. This happens whether you get pregnant or not..I should add that in.
