Hey ladies! Just thought I would let you all in on all the fun stuff going on with me...
We got a new kitten on Sunday! We named her Lily. I'll post pics of her sometime. Maggie and Lily are getting used to each other and seem to be getting more and more interested in one another, so we'll see if they get along or not. We went to my in-laws for a grad party for my niece on Sunday and ended up coming home with a kitten. My FIL was going to bring her to the SPCA and I'm such a softie when it comes to animals...and so is DH...so we figured a cat was less work than another dog, so we decided to take it home!
I also am finally on summer vacation!!! It doesn't feel that way yet because I have classes all day wed, thurs and friday and still have 2 projects I need to finish, but at least my classes will be all done this friday except one project to hand in next week. But I'm oficially done work as of yesterday! I went to my new school where I will be teaching in september and I LOVE IT already! Everyone was very nice and my new classroom is huge! It's a class with built in sinks and cabinets all around so I can do my labs right in class. And the best part is...so far, my biggest group of kids next year is a class of 11 kids in Chem 1! my other groups are 8, 8 and 6! The whole school has only 160 students from grades 7 to 12, but they need to offer advanced sciences for the kids who need them to get into college or university. What a dream teaching job! I'll have lots of time to give them extra help and work with them on a one on one basis. I'm psyched! Just wanted to share!

The ONLY con on my list of pros and cons is the fact that the school is in a very small community about 1 hr drive from my house, but I was already used to driving 1 hr to get to my old school, it just would have been great to be a little closer to home. But hey, a girl can't always have it all! I'm convinced that this will get me that much closer to my BFP because I'm just so happy with everything that's going on in my life right now, I can't help but be positive that all things come in due time (like this job, for instance, which I have been waiting for a position like this since I was hired in my school disctrict 3 years ago!)
Anyone else want to share any good news? Let's keep the positive energy flowing!
