So, I have been off BC for about 8 months... Every month I am breaking out more and more. It is so embarrassing. Does anyone have any tips/advice to get rid of it? It is even on the back of my neck. Yucko! Thanks

No advice here. The severity changes month to month with me. Have you tried all of the products out there for acne. Clean and Clear has a new one that is supposed to be better than Proactive.

I never had acne, but I did get an underlying skin infection with sunscreen that gave me huge ***** zits on my face and I ended up going to a primary care physician about a year ago and getting a prescription for clindomycin.

I won't go back to anything else and only use it when a pimple pops up and it is gone within a day or two.

I had to go on Accutane because I had severe acne...it totaly got rid of it. The only thing is you can absolutely NOT TTC because there is a severe risk of birth defects if conceiving while on Accutane. No side effects on TTC afterwards though, just during. But that was a few years ago, and since I have not broken out when I went off BC, so I'm not sure what to suggest right now. Harsh soaps were also bad for me personaly...my dermatologist recommended I only use a bar like Dove or Cetaphil, much more natural and not as harsh as some of those bad smelling, stinging, chemical solutions!
