Today I got what felt like really strong O pains in my left Ovary. I have them now as I type. It's exactly what my O pains feel like and where they happen.

I thought about it and came to the realization that this isn't the first time I've had pains like this so early in my cycle. It doesn't happen every cycle, but it's definitely not a foreign thing at all either. I'm due to O from the left side this cycle and that's where the pains are (on my left side) and they always are on the side I'm due to O from.

Why would I be having these pains on CD4? I'm like 10 days away from Ovulation. Any ideas?

no clue but I do think you should tell your Dr the next time that you are in and talking about fertility.

I have had a weird pain like that in that area before very early in my cycle too. I thought maybe it was due to AF, but I could be wrong too.

I'm on CD 5 and extremely bloated and having insane "O" pains as well- it happened two cycles ago as well. I think our bodies are just strange, but that it is 'normal'.

Cool, At least I know I'm not the only one. I will be asking my Dr when I go in to see him next either for my annual exam or my HSG!

I suppose it is possible! But that would mean I'm totally out since I still had AF when I had the pains. DH won't come near me when I have AF and to be honest, I don't want him near me! LOL

sometimes i get them at weird times too. but not sharp as when i'm actually Oing. I wouldn't worry much about it. hopefully it's just the ovaries building up to pop out a very strong egg!!

Well I hope that my Ovary pops out a really good egg either kinda early this cycle or kinda late. DH will be out of town on CD 12-14 this cycle and I generally O on CD13-15. I know we're NTNP, but I'd still like to have a little bit of a chance! I'm still gonna ask about the pain when I talk to my Dr though. I'm just interested what it is you know?

Thanks for all the replies!!!
