I am trying to decide when to start the marathon BDing and not the fun BDing - LOL. I start OPK's today or tomorrow (today is CD 11). I usually give it a day or two after I stop the clomid because it can give false positives. I think I will be Oing sometime this weekend. I guess it depends on the OPK I guess......ugh, this is one of the hardest parts for me - especially with company coming over this weekend.

Oh, and lucky me has 5 free days of FF VIP Service!

I always have the same decisions every month! I am never sure when we should start BDing every day. I usually O between the 3rd and the 5th, but it's a little different each time. Sorry, I am not much help, but I do understand!

Do you know when you will ovulate on the clomid? I normally ovulate (regularly) on CD 15-17 and my doctor told me any bding before CD12 is too early. She thinks for the best chance the ejaculate should build up for a few days.

funny how we get different answers from our drs. my dr. said to BD every other day from cycle day 9 till confirm of O by three temp shifts. she said it's good to get the "old" spermies outta there and get the fresher ones when you get closer to Oing time. I usually O around CD16, but with clomid it's usually CD17 for me. The two times I managed to get pregnant, we did BD every other day. Now I get to anxious and we do it every day around O time and we haven't been successful. I think i'm going back to every other day if this cycle is a bust. G/L with whatever you decide!! JUst don't burn out DH. I did this cycle.

I know that the drug manufacturer of Clomid says that if it induces ovulation it will happen 7-10 days after your last pill of clomid. I would start taking opk's 3 days after your last clomid pill.

I can't be of much help here since I've never used clomid, but I do unserstand your BD timing anxiety. I never ovulate at the same time, cycles vary a lot, and last month I thought I had Oed around CD 16 and we have been BDing for almost a week before then and a few days after...then FF changed it's mind a few days later and all of a sudden we had missed our chance! I hate trying to ''schedule'' DTD! Good luck to you and I hope you catch that eggie!

p.s. I love your new siggy!!

Thanks everyone - I think I have a "plan" now, especially after that info about clomid (Thanks Amanda). I never knew that - but it has worked out that way when I look back - about 6-8 days after is when I get the positive OPK.

Our plan is - I start mucinex today. I give DH a break (a day or two - we BD last night). Probably just one day. Continue OPK's and BD everyday as my OPK's start to get darker. That should be a little easier on DH.
