We got a letter from our health insurance company the other day saying: "Dear Former Members"...
Ummm Huh?

Last I knew we were still members as I saw they took the premium out of DH's last paycheck. I called DH who had to call his boss.
Apparently, his company is changing the insurance carrier (like going through their business rather than the Chamber of Commerce). It'll be the same plan and all, just through the other company.
No one told my DH and they had 2 meetings last week where the boss had ample opportunity to clue everyone in. Nice, huh? And a smart company would have had the employees do all the new paperwork before the end date so it was a smooth transition with no lapse in coverage, right? Not DH's bosses!
SO, techinically as of midnight tonight (6/30) we don't have any insurance! DH did just call me and got all my info for the new paperwork so hopefully it'll be a quick process.
I was going to call this week to schedule my annual Exam with my Gyno and ask about the HSG scheduling, but I suppose that's gonna have to wait until I have our insurance back! I'll be really mad if I have to wait too long to get that stuff done... I've waited long enough for the insurance year to roll over for us to make the most of our deductable so I could do the darn HSG!
I'd like to think this happened for a reason, but I'm trying to figure that one out! I'm just thankful that they didn't yank the insurance completely and that DH has a stable job! There could be a lot worse out there right? But it's still frustrating and I'm annoyed! LOL
Ok, done ranting now. Thanks for listening!
