So we have been looking for new furniture.. we have all "hand me down" furniture or our single stuff before we got married..well,we have had the plan to get a King size bed and give Gracie our Queen bed..well, I was looking on craigslist and came across this ad that had been posted a little over 2 weeks ago... well it was a king bedroom set..came with bed..mattress..dresser/mirror and 2 night stands.. and its only 5 years old.. and that style and color I have been looking for.. and for ev erything..all for $600 its a great deal concidering the other bed sets in the store for a King were close to $2,000..and we would have had to still buy a king mattress.. we do not have it yet.. we have to wait til weekend and my Fater in law and James can go with a truck to pick it up.. but I am very excited about it and wanted to share

That's great - you were very lucky.

We have to get our truck paid off before we can upgrade our hand me down/freecycle furniture. Can't get anything even now on craigslist.

what a great deal! once we move out of here we have to first find out what size can fit the room and then we'll be looking for new bedroom furniture.

We have older\hand me down stuff too and as soon as we move, we need new
stuff...but any money we have we try to put towards renovations to get more out of the house when we buy it...I'm so jealous, I want a king set so bad! Congrats on that great deal! Are you in your new house yet? Just wondering...

Lisa- no the house I told everyone about didn't work out.. but we are moving in to a 3 bedroom place right down from here.. and it will be in the next few weeks..I am exited. the landlord of the new place is nice and she will let us put our new set up before we move..in the new place.. and we will have the alarm turned on ahead of time so our stuff will be safe
