So not much to add, except he seems to be doing better and is not rambling about weird, random stuff anymore. The doctor told my sister they do not believe he has schizophrenia or anything along those lines, they think he has severe depression and anxiety that became so extreme he started having psychotic episodes. His blood pressure was still very high and he is not eating and sleeping properly, although his appetite is getting a little better. He had a pretty good day two days ago and my sister got permission to take him out for a drive for 1 hr. a day,so they came to our house a few times for a short visit. I was ''puppysitting'' their yellow lab the other day, so he was very happy he got to see her. Yesterday he was down in the dumps...so it's kind of a day by day thing right now, but he is making slow progress. They have him on anti-anxiety meds and anti-depressants as well as blood pressure medication and something to help him sleep. We are hoping he will make a full recovery, it will obviously take a while and he will most likely need to stay on medication long term so that the depression doesn't come back in full swing, but eventually he should be able to get back to his old self again. All in all, things are going as well as could be expected, and maybe even better than we thought it would about this time last week... So thanks to everyone who sent good wishes and prayers, and thanks for always listening!

So on a different subject, it has been raining here for the past 2 weeks straight and the sun is supposed to be out today and for the next few days, so I'm hoping to catch up on some rays...headed to my mom's ''pool paradise'' as soon as I'm done writting this post! I should post pics of her backyard sometime...I love it! I could only wish to have such a great backyard one day...but I guess I can always enjoy hers anyways!

Glad things are better with your BIL. Sounds like a 2 steps forward, one step back process. He will get there though!

Enjoy your Mom's pool! I almost wish I could trade a few days of the rain with you. I hate rain with dragging a kid around too with a passion, but we are in severe drought here - we haven't had rain in over a month and we had some yesterday, but only got .22".

Thanks girls! Yesterday he got permission to go out for 2 hours, so my sister and BIL went for dinner at my mom's and got to stop at their house and spend a few minutes with their dog. I think he wasn't very talkative, but a bit better still.

And the pool was fabulous, but it was a little chilly when the clouds rolled in but today is supposed to be sunnier and hotter, so headed back there again. When the sun is out I hang around there and when it's raining, I do things around the house...perfect balance DH doesn't really care for swimming and hot weather, so that is my mon-fri routine and I come home just in time to make dinner before he gets home from work, and on weekends we hang out together out of the sun if possible. I Love summer!
