I'm *so* sorry for the cross-post girls (I posted this on the ttc board too), I meant to just post this here, but I'm not quite awake yet, and I first posted it on the other board.

I haven't been coming on the ttc boards much lately, I've just exhausted my ttc strength. We haven't given up trying, but I just don't have the enthusiasm that I started with anymore. I would like to congratulate everyone that has gotten their BFP's, and give and baby dust to everyone who has had AF visit though!

Anyway, I thought I would post a short update on me. DH is trying to get an appointment for a sperm analysis this Wednesday. There has to be a 7 day gap between the last time we BD'd and when he goes to give his sample, so if he can't get in on Wednesday, we're going to have to wait a bit because we have to start BD'ing on Thursday if we want a chance for a December baby. DH and I have an appointment to go and see a Naturopath on Thursday. The one that we're going to see came highly recommended for fertility by a couple of our friends, and she ranks #4 in North America on some Naturopath society list. I'm pretty intrigued, as I don't really know what a Naturopath is supposed to do for fertility, but I feel good knowing that we're taking a pro-active approach and trying something new. All my blood tests came back healthy, and the doctor said that if DH's sperm analysis comes back healthy too, the fertility clinic likely won't see us unless we're still not pregnant in ANOTHER YEAR! I'm under 30 and if his sa is good, then we're considered healthy and they don't think they can do anything for us anyway. I was pretty disappointed thinking that we would have to wait another year to do anything about it, but I'm now excited about the Naturopath. Has anyone else gone to a Naturopath for fertility?

I have a quick question for anyone who has used Evening Primrose Oil. I bought some, and kind of assumed that it would tell me on the package when to take it/how much to take, but it didn't. Can you guys tell me what you have been taking, or what is recommended? I think someone mentioned that you should only take it on certain cycle days too, is that right?

Yikes! Another year is ridiculous... HUGS for that.

I totally understand your lack of enthusiasm for TTC - I am at that point as well especially since I just realized yesterday that we havent been preventing for FOUR years not three. That was a kick in the gut.

Evening of Primerose Oil - the recommend 2500-3000 mg per day but stop taking it once you have ovulated because it can cause miscarriage.

Good Luck!

I can't believe that they told you that you have to wait another year. That is way to long to have to wait. I hope that you get your BFP this month I know how hard it is TTC it took me 14 months and everyone broke my heart.
