I'm back!

I will get caught up on the posts tonight. I didn't have much of a chance when I got back yesterday because I was just dead tired. We had a great time (and I'll post pics at some point). Jon and I are part of a "older" gamers website where you have to be 25+ to join. We've been members of there for 3 years, and I joined on my 25th birthday. We went to the site event in August of 2007 in Chicago where we got to meet a bunch of the group that we game with nightly. (We play across Xbox Live, and are in a very active forum together so we had gotten to know each other pretty well at that time). We didn't have a chance to make it to the event last year, but this year we decided to have our own event at one of our member's house. We have an active group of 60, and 18 committed to coming- we had 16 show up and stay over the weekend. We all had planned to stay in the host's house, but after such a long day Thursday and being on the floor of an unfamiliar place, Jon and I slept about 2 hours total that night- we ended up getting a motel room for the following two nights. (Wise decision- I'm getting too old for this stuff lol). It was about a 6 hour drive and after all the gaming, drinking, and eating we had done all weekend, it's finally caught up to me!

I am simply exhausted and I wish I had been able to take today off of work! Is it Friday yet?

Once I get some pictures uploaded, I'll update with those so you all can see what it's like for 16 people to game side by side! All in all, it was a great time and I'm looking forward to round 2 next year.

As for TTC, I'm 5dpo today and had a nice time breaking from JM and temping, and everything. With the surgery in 3 weeks (!!!!!), I am going to have a whole month off of doing any of that ttc stuff... I'm still hoping I get lucky in another week though.

I'm not stressing this cycle (why should I?) and just preparing for one (hopefully LAST) painful AF next week and hoping the surgery takes care of the rest.
