I can't explain it. It is a little metallic and a little bit like dry/cotton mouth. I have had this weird taste in my mouth since I got up today. Eating and drinking won't make it go away - barely dulls it. And now I have heartburn to go with it and it is making it worse. Has anyone else experienced this?

Are you sure you would? You are the Queen of not testing on 10 dpo and that is what I am.  I am going to see if I can wait for tomorrow for FMU! We will see, I have been thinking about testing all afternoon!

Our TTC journey: 6 cycles Clomid, lap surgery/ D&C, IUI, 2 x IVF; 33 cycles- BFN.
IVF#1 (March 2010) Transferred two 8-cell grade A (perfect) embies- BFN and heartbroken.
IVF#2/FET#1 (Jan/Feb 2011):Transferred two (7&8 cell) grade A (PERFECT) embies- BFN again.
March 2011- February 2012: On BCP due to endometriosis.
March 2012- taking a few months off of BCP and we are TTC naturally.
We will re-evaluate another IVF w/FET try in 2013.

TEST!!! I read that a metallic taste is an uncommon yet possible symptom of P-R-E-G-N-A-N-C-Y!!!

Christina, you are so right in calling me on being the queen of NOT testing!!!! quilty as charged... but i never said i wasn't a poas pusher to others!!! LOL
I don't think you'd get a bfp without FMU at 10dpo. you might even get a bfn with FMU tomorrow morning and still be pregnant. 12dpo is usually when most bfps show up. But i still think you should poas this morning too. Maybe you'll be one of the lucky ones and get a bfp at 11dpo. oooooo I hope so!!!!! KUP and GOOD LUCK!!!!

The metallic taste is called Dysgeusia! It is common in pregnancy! Good luck, hopefully you are just too early

One month I had that metallic taste, and nothing came of it, but you also have heartburn to go with it, so POAS again! Keep us posted!

I POAS this morning when I woke and had to pee really bad at 6am. I used a $1 store test. But no spotting as of right now (knock on wood). AF is due by Saturday. If I make it to Saturday I will use my FRER I am hoarding (those things are Dang expensive)!
