I can't believe I forgot to tell you ladies this story! I took Lily, our new kitten, to the vet last friday for her shots...and turns out SHE was a HE! Heheheh! We had to change it's name ...so it went from Lily to Louie. We call him Lou for short! But other than that, the vet said he's fine and healthy. She said that happens ALL the time...because their testes only descend when they are a few months old, so when we checked, they didn't show so we assumed it was a girl. Luckily, Lou's identity crisis is over and he's happy now!

Our TTC journey: 6 cycles Clomid, lap surgery/ D&C, IUI, 2 x IVF; 33 cycles- BFN.
IVF#1 (March 2010) Transferred two 8-cell grade A (perfect) embies- BFN and heartbroken.
 IVF#2/FET#1 (Jan/Feb 2011):Transferred two (7&8 cell) grade A (PERFECT) embies- BFN again.
March 2011- February 2012: On BCP due to endometriosis.
March 2012- taking a few months off of BCP and we are TTC naturally.
We will re-evaluate another IVF w/FET try in 2013.

LOL that is sooo funny!! My bunny Toby- the black one in my siggy was originally Lucy, he went through the same thing! We had a vet assure us he was a she, then one day HE was cleaning his very obviously BOY parts and I was like OMG!! So Toby can relate to Louie!

Maybe Louie and Toby need to start a support group for mistakenly transgendered pets...share their story with pet owners to prevent this from happening to other pets around the world....hahahaha, I'm laughing my butt off at that idea just now.
But seriously, that's funny how the same thing happened to you guys with Toby! I'll tell Lou, maybe it will reassure him!

Oh I can see that support group now! LOL... That's too funny! It happened to a friend of mine with her cat and she just left the cat with it's girl name. So, you can imagine how weird it was calling a male cat by the name "Minnie".

i totally think a support group is in order here ladies!!! poor louie and toby!!!!

that is totally hilarious!!!! i think i would not stop laughing for days!!!! thank goodness you found out!!!! you could have really screwed them up if it went on any longer LOL!!!

That is hilarious! Good Luck as he gets older. We have a no male pet rule here - males tend to pee on furniture and stuff more.
