I thought that since I'm no longer employed (DH has made a million jokes about that in the 20 hours since I left work- all in good fun though) I would have lots of free time... but I've been busy today and it feels great!
This morning I had a job interview!!! The people were wonderful and I would be working at the same College as my MIL. I'd literally be able to look into her office window from my office window (separate buildings though)! It was a very quick interview (I was their first interview for the position and the 1st one in 20+ years!) but I felt good after. So, if you could send a few prayers my way for that, I'd really appreciate it!
Then since I finally got our new insurance cards (yay!) , I called to double check about the HSG being covered. I wasn't sure since I haven't gotten the insurance paperwork yet and the lady said, "All you have to do is pay the $25 co-pay." So I go- "If anything else comes up, I'll assume I'll be billed correct?" And she replied, "There should be no other bills- if you get one, call us back and we'll take care of it!" Wow- wasn't expecting to hear that! I'm still gonna be leary and expect to have to pay something though.
Now, I'm in limbo...I'm supposed to call to schedule my HSG when I get AF but I don't know if AF is here or not. I assume it'll be here anytime as I've started spotting heavier, but I don't know. I'm so ready to get this HSG done and move onto IUI. SOOO Ready! I was even thinking of asking the Dr about doing an IUI cycle before my HSG, but I don't know... I probably should do things by the book, right? I just really feel that the IUI will do the trick for us to get our BFP.
In fact, I really feel that my BFP is looming very close. I don't know- it's just a calm feeling that I get that I feel like I shouldn't worry about things too much cause it's gonna happen soon. Weird right? Yeah, I'm probably just psyching myself out! LOL Maybe it's the ill-effects of TTC for 2 years setting in! .
Now I'm off to Target to do some shopping. I'm gonna see if there are anymore pieces of the baby bedding I like on sale and then off to clean and spend time with my Hubby! I really should start that LARGE pile of laundry, but hey-there's always tomorrow, right? Thanks for listening to me ramble on and on and on! LOL

Congrats on the great interview! I really hope you get the job! And working with your MIL should be fun too since you guys seem to have a great relationship. A pal for lunch breaks is always fun! Happy to hear that the insurrance is moving forward also! It sounds like your new company will be very cooperative, so I hope the switch ends up being very beneficial for you.
I hope AF doesn't come, but at least you know that you will be moving forward. I'm glad you're feeling calm and level headed about ttc, I hope you're right and your BFP is around the corner!!! You SO deserve it!
And BTW, you are too sweet wanting to take AF away from us this cycle so we can get our BFPs...I would gladly do the same for you if I could, you have been waiting for this even longer than I have...I don't even want to think about making it to the 2 year mark! I really hope the IUI does the trick for you guys!!!
So since your ''unemployed'' days are hopefully over soon, go enjoy your day and I hope you find more of that bedding! You should take a pic and post it, I love seeing people's taste in nursery stuff...it gives me ideas for when the time comes since I haven't bought anything yet (don't want to get jinxed!).

I'm so excited at your optimism!! I am praying for a BFP for you very soon too! I'm glad the HSG is covered, but I don't blame you for still worrying you'll get a bill.
I don't know if you're talking about the same bedding I got, but I ordered the curtains and changing pad cover online because they didn't have them in the store. I ordered 4 panels (2 windows). Two panels shipped immediately. Now the other 2 panels and the changing pad cover are out of stock. They say they're expected to ship in August, but I think they're lying. Short story long, if it is the same set, some pieces may be out of stock FYI!

Hope the college calls you back!!!
I was told by my doc that they will not do an IUI unless they have confirmed that one tube is open. I don't know if that is all doctors though!!! I think you should go ahead and get the HSG since you only have to pay $25. You never know if your insurance will change next year and then you doc changes or something and you have to get one and end up paying...does that make sense?
I'm so excited though....I hope you can do an IUI soon!!! That would be great!!! I look forward to hearing whether or not you'll be doing one soon.

Thank you Lisa! You're too sweet! AF showed up this afternoon, so I'm taking one for the team and you all must get your BFPs now! LOL
I never made it to the store, but here's the link to the bedding set so you can check it out! Dwell Studio for Target Bedding Collection - Circles & Rings : Target

Thanks for checking in on me Christine! I appreciate the prayers! DH and I decided to call tomorrow to find out the total cost of the HSG just in case... Knowing our luck we'll get billed twice for the whole thing! LOL.
We did get the same bedding as you- the Circles and Rings. I only started buying it cause the play blanket was on sale for 50% off and some of the sheets were like 30% off... then it snowballed! I need some more sheets, a crib skirt and the receiving blankets (those are a great size!) and I'll have the whole set. I'd like the changing pad cover, but its not a huge deal if I don't get it. But thanks for the FYI about those pieces! All the more reason to complete the set before other pieces go missing! LOL

Thanks Lee Ann! What you say makes total sense! And I completely agree. The logical side of me knows I have to have it done in the right order, but the impatient side of me is just chomping at the bit to get an IUI done! I'll for sure want all the details on your upcoming IUI so I'm prepared! LOL

Ok so here is my prediction for Cris...she will get a phone call July 30 asking her for a second interview...then on Aug. 6 she will find out that she got the job. (Probably way off I know!! haha) She will have the HSG done the begining of August and get the all clear news she is praying for! Then in September she will do her 1st IUI and will get her BFP the end of September....She will be due June 9th with a beautiful baby boy! HAHA Ok that was fun...anyone else want an "Alicia Reading" HAHA

So excited for you to be moving forward! I am hoping you get that job first off! Second, I think you should do the HSG first (as IUI would be a waste if God forbid something was wrong in there)- when you get the ALL CLEAR with the HSG, I am excited for you to try IUI. I really hope the HSG is all you need though- so it clears the path for your eggie to meet the swimmers!

Well now that was a pretty specific prediction! And I love it! LOL... I'm gonna have to save that to my laptop and put it in my datebook just to see how right you are!

Thank you Jackie! I actually forgot about the clearing the cobweb effect, so hopefully that will work!

I'm impressed that you had an interview on your first day of unemployment! Good luck with that job.
I'm glad that your HSG is covered. Please KUP on when it gets scheduled.

Thanks Km! That was really great timing on the interview wasn't it? Maybe it's meant to be! LOL. I posted in another post about my HSG, so I'll go update that now!

First off, Welcome! You're totally right that the girls here are so wonderful! I would definitely be lost without my "family" here! I'm sure you'll love it here (But I hope you don't have to stick around long!)
