Always. It's a habit that DH got me into. His mom is go strict about that that he would get on me for it.

No, I actually lift the seat up! In this new house, we have low flow....ultra powerful toilet flushes and so it is always splashing up, so after I go......I flush and then lift the toilet seat up and clean the water off. I'm getting ultra use to it though

No, we usually don't put the lid down unless my nephews are over.
LeeAnn- your DH must love that you put the seat up! LOL I'm in a constant battle with my DH about him leaving it up!

He never says anything about it! But he only uses the toilet in the master bath in the morning and night.....Otherwise, he uses the bathroom in the hallway that is right next to his manroom! But I do feel like I'm always cleaning the toilets....and around them.

Yes, every time. If I forget (which may have been 5 times in 5 years), DH will laugh and point it out. I'm so crazy about making sure it's down!
