Can you please give me your opinion on using Clomid. What days did you take it? What were your side effects? I was told there is a 10% chance of twins. has this happened to you or do you know someone that did?(I'm really not going for twins).

I haven't gotten pregnant on it. I have used it CD 5-9, but am supposed to use it CD 4-8 this cycle (was supposed to last cycle but forgot - DH got home from a trip that night).

The first few cycles the side effects were rough, but I got used to them. I had a friend get pregnant with twins on 100mg of clomid but she lost one of them very early on. Sorry I am no help probably on this one.

I take mine on CD 5-9 and did both cycles that I got pregnant in the past on it. I have a friend that used it for two successful pregnancies, one ended in twins and one ended in a single baby. My side effects were that I was moody, bloated, cramping in the 2WW and beyond on the cycles that I got pregnant, and acne. Overall it's not bad I don't think. But then again I know that I won't get pregnant unless I'm on it because I don't ovulate on my own. I hope that it works well for you.

i have had two successful cycles on clomid, but both have ended in m/c. i'm trying it again. if it doesn't work for me i'll try femara. my side effects were almost none at first, but this last cycle they were bad. headaches, dizzy like feelings, hot flashes. I have only taken 50mg cycle days 3 through 7. Good luck if you decide to take it. Oh and with both pregnancies there was only one baby in the sac before they stopped developing.

I have taken it for 4 [unsuccessful] cycles on days 3-7.

My side effects were bloating, hot flashes, irritability, headaches, and exhaustion.

I took it 3 (unsccuessful cycles) Days 3-7 and then 12-16. I didnt respond real well too it obviously...haha...But I didnt have alot of SEs either...The worst that I had was some hot flashes and I got 1 headache in 3 cycles...My REs office had a 2% multiples rate on Clomid...so really not too likely at all...I wish you luck with whatever you choose though!!

Not sure if I can handle hot flashes in the summer. But if these are the side effects I think I can handle it.

The hot flashes were bad in the beginning. I must be used to the side effects by now or just used to feeling like it is 100 degrees (cause of where I live).
