Femara? Saw the Dr and she said we'd try Femara if the Clomid didn't work this cycle.

Can anyone tell me about Femara? have you used it? how much and what cycle days? any info would be greatly appreciated. I don't have much time to research on internet. thanks

I don't know - I am going to ask my doctor about it if the clomid doesn't work this cycle. I know Becky (she was the host on this board previously) used it to get pregnant with Camryn. I will google it in a min and let you know what I find out.

So far, what I have seen - if clomid doesn't work, Femara has.

I don't know much about it, but I have heard that it's helped women get pregnant who didn't on clomid! I hope this can help you get your sticky sticky bean!

Lynda,

This is a great article that I was posted in a thread in the TTCMA board:
http://www.soft-infertility.com/docs/PILetrosol.pdf

You can also get a free 30 day supply at femara.com

I may be on femara for the IUI cycle! Good luck & happy reading!!!

I've thought of looking into this to once the surgery is complete. After 4 cycles of Clomid, I'm done with it, unless we use it a couple cycles with IUI or something coming up.

thanks gals!!!! i will check out that link Lee Ann!!! Christina, thanks for looking it up for me!!! I did a bit of reading myself and it doesn't have the horrible side effects that clomid does, which I could certainly do without!! this last cycle, the side effects were horrible. i also like the fact that femara doesn't thin the uterine lining. hopefully this cycle won't be a bust, but if it is, I move on to femara! i'm not a drug taker - i really want to stop taking any meds, but you gotta do what you gotta do...

thanks again ladies!!
